Morrison, Colorado

The Willowbrook Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado is nothing short of amazing. Located in a private community, near Denver, you must have permission from one of the residents in order to, hopefully, be lucky enough to get a spot on their busy event calendar. Dax and Laura were able to secure a spot and contacted me while I was living in Bellingham, Washington, asking if I would be willing to fly back to photograph their wedding. Having known the bride and groom for a number of years, I was very excited to photograph their wedding in such a beautiful venue. I arranged a trip out to Colorado a number of months before the wedding in order to hang out with family and to meet with the bride and groom. While in Colorado, I scheduled some time to check out the wedding location. The amazing red rock amphitheater serves as the wedding venue allowing for so amazing photographic opportunities I almost feel like there are too many images in this gallery!
