Flowing northwest through the Big Belt and Little Belt mountains, the Smith River is one of Montana’s most pristine stretches of river. Noted for its spectacular scenery and world class fishing, the Smith River is unique in that it has only one public put-in and take-out for the entire 59 mile stretch of river. The rivers corridor flows between amazing canyon walls and into wide open meadows, untouched by the ordinary human influence I have become accustomed to.
On May 19, 2018, the third day of our five day float trip, I was fortunate to shoot the wedding of Brian and Ande in an amazing meadow at Crowsfoot campground. This spot holds a special place in Brian’s heart, so I couldn’t imagine a more incredible place for these two people to exchange vows and promise their lives to one another.
I was honored to be invited on this trip and hope that you enjoy the images!
